Hard Disk Monitor is an excellent program which lets you know, in real time, the status of your hard drive, and if there's a problem that threatens its integrity.

In the main screen of Hard Disk Monitor are the main hard disk data, such as temperature, capacity, manufacturer, time in operation, etc. But it's also possible to modify some of the options in Hard Disk Monitor to receive alerts and notifications in case of exceeding a certain temperature, or when there's very little disk space.

When there's a critical error, you can configure the application to receive an email, and even shut down the PC to prevent serious problems.
